On 09 April 2012, at Vientiane, Lao Viet Insurance Company (LVI) appointed new leaders for the positions Chairman, CEO and Deputy General Director.

- Mr. Villay SIPHAPHON - Deputy General Director of Bank for Foreign Trade of Laos (BCEL) join the LVI's Board and was appointed Chairman of LVI instead of Mr. Vanhkham VORAVONG (CEO of BCEL) from 01 March 2012.

- Mr. Pham Duc Hau - First Deputy General Director of LVI was appointed CEO of LVI instead of  Mr. Vu Minh Hai from 16 April 2012 (Mr. Vu Minh Hai come back to BIDV Insurance Corporation with new position).

- Mr. Somsay NHOTSAVANH - Business Department Manager of LVI was appointed Deputy General Director  from 01 April 2012.

Attending the ceremony have Mr. Pham Quang Tung - Deputy General Director of Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Chairman of BIDV Insurance Corporation, the members of the Board, the leaders of BCEL, the leaders of Lao Viet Bank and all staff of LVI.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Duc Hau thanks and recognized the dedication of the previous leaders for the operation of LVI. He commited bring the developments for LVI, based on the brand and strengths before and LVI become leading insurance company in Laos.
