LVI launched e-Insurance service via u-money

On July 28, 2020; at LVI’s office, Star FinTech (a member of UNITEL) and LVI has signed an MOU and launched insurance servicevia u-money application.
 
 
According toMOU, customers can buy and pay for LVI's insurance products conveniently, easilyvia u-money application. Thereby, customers can immediately use electronic insurance certificate on u-money or receive the hard copy at over 10,000 transaction units of Star FinTech and LVI in over the country. To implement the MOU, LVI will take the priority to use u-money service to make payments such as staff salaries, agent commission and claim payment to customers etc,…
 
Star FinTech is a member of Star Telecom Company (UNITEL) - the largest telecommunication companyin Laos. U-Money is the first mobile payment service belonging to Star Fintech licensed to operate in Laos by Bank of Lao. Mobile payment is a trend in the age of information technology, with a strong support from UNITEL, u-money service is expected to promote digital economy ecosystem and cashless society development in Laos.
 
LVI is an insurance company established by BCEL and BIDV Insurance Corporation (Vietnam). After more than 12 years of operation, LVI currently ranks the 2nd largest insurance companies in Lao.
 
Basing on the technology platform and taking the experience of each party, this MOU will bringthe most convenient service to customers. Currently, two insurance products will be sold via u-money service: motor vehicle insurance and health insurance. In the future, Star FinTech and LVI will continue to research more insurance products in order to meet more customers’s desire.

ບໍລິສັດ ຮ່ວມທຸລະກິດປະກັນໄພລາວ - ຫວຽດ (LVI) ໄດ້ຮ່ວມມືກັບທະນາຄານການຄ້າຕ່າງປະເທດລາວ (BCEL), ທະນາຄານຮ່ວມທຸລະກິດລາວ - ຫວຽດ(LaoVietBank), ແລະ ບໍລິສັດ StarFintech ຂອງ Unitel ເພື່ອເປີດ​ຊ່ອງ​ທາງ​ໃຫມ່​ໃນ​ການ​ຂາຍຜະລິດຕະພັນປະກັນໄພສຸຂະພາບ, ​ໃນ​ນັ້ນ​ມີ​ການຈ່າຍຄ່າໃຊ້ຈ່າຍໃນການກວດ ແລະ ປິ່ນປົວພະຍາດໂຄວິດ -19.
